Comparison of the Sony alpha models
The difference between the entry or consumer models of the Sony DSLR alpha series is quite easy to explain. First there’s the basic model called the a200. Now you add life view and you get the a300. Put 4 megapixel more on top and there you are: the a350. Well, I neither need life view nor a 14 megapixel picture. However I still had to compare the a200 with the older model a100 and there are two features that definitely speak for the latter: MLU and DOF preview. Both are not that important for me and so I’m looking forward to the arrival of my new camera - the a200. Of course I would have loved to invest in the a700, but my budget just didn’t allow for that.
